As with all models it is clear that the conclusions drawn from the model of Rasool an Schneider are critically dependent upon the assumptions in the model. The problem, therefore, is how closely the model represents the reality.
One of the basic assumptions in our model questions by Charlson et al. is that the aerosol layer is concentraded primarily below the average cloud level, ad that, therefore, its presnce affects only the albdeo of the cloudless part of the Earth.
