Inman and Ruderman 1964
Inman, C.I., and M.A. Ruderman, 1964: Plasma neutrino emission from a hot, dense electron gas. Astrophys. J., 140, 1025-1040, doi:10.1086/148002.
Neutrino pair emission from coherent electron excitations (transverse plasmons) in a hot, dense stellar plasma is calculated for a regime of temperatures and densities relevant to stellar evolution. Detailed numerical results are presented for temperatures in the range 4×107-5×108 °K and densities in the range 104-108 gm/cm3.
