A brief review of palynological, macrofossil, and AMS ¹⁴C dating as evidence for the Younger Drys cooling in Nirth America is provided, focusing on research of the last decade. The attention to this climate reversal appears to be primarily at the margin of the Laurentide and Cordilleran ice sheets. The degree to which the records indicate regional vegetational and climatic changes, and are welld-ated with AMS ¹⁴C dating, varies greatly from region to region.
