In a recent paper, Jaccia (1964) has presented a set of models of the upper atmosphere designed to reproduce the satellite drag density while requiring the minimum amount of tabulation. I wish to call attention to a minor modification of Jacchia's procedure which eliminates the numerical integration of the diffusive equilibirum equations, yielding a completely analytic representation of upper atmosphere densities.
